Description
This simi-rigid Figured Cherry Atlatl thrower has been sanded eleven levels to 2000 grit to pull out maximum figuring. It provides an amazing translucent reddish/tan color; accenting its figured dance it provides in the light. The handle has a reddish/golden color provided from imported Sapele wood, from Africa. The handle is finished off with an imported wood called; Ziricote from Central America. It provides a beautiful off set coloring of medium to dark brown tone. The spur is carved from moose antler and sits on a cushion of suede. This thrower has a beautiful hand carved and polished atlatl weight made from soapstone which sits on a cushion of brain tanned deer hide. The thrower has attached index/thumb, suede finger loops.
